Description

A delegation of more than 100 Italian operators from about 60 companies, led by the Italian Deputy Minister of Economic Development, will visit Malaysia with the mission to open up more opportunities for bilateral trade and business collaboration between the two countries. In conjunction with the visit, there will also be a signing of “Terms of Reference” for Italy-Malaysia Joint Committee.

This mission is jointly organized by
-   Italian Institute of Foreign Trade of Italy (ICE)
-   the General Confederation of Italian Industry (CONFINDUSTRIA)
-   the Association of Italian Banks (ABI).

Major programs include
-   Launching of the mission
-   Business-to-Business Meeting

The following industries have been identified as the priority sectors for this mission:
-   High technology, mechatronics and electronics
-   Precision engineering
-   Biotechnology / biomedical / chemical
-   Renewable energy
-   Logistics
-   Hospitaly equipments
-   Consumer goods (Agroindustry, luxurious goods, jewellery, apparels, furniture/furnishings/design
